Preparations have been underway all day for the concerts, with both BeachFest and the Collie Buddz show set to kick off tonight to start off the Cup Match holiday.

Chewstick is hosting the 7th Annual BeachFest Emancipation Celebration at Horseshoe Bay Beach, which will feature two days of entertainment. This year’s event starts tonight with a concert featuring Jamaican reggae singer Wayne Wonder, Trevor Hall and Dead Prez.

Legendary singer Barrington Levy was originally scheduled to perform at BeachFest, however withdrew a couple of days ago and was replaced by Wayne Wonder.

Also included in the Beach Fest entertainment lineup for this evening are Canjelae, Joy T Barnum, Jelani, Haz, I-Vibes, Imari and Hannah Eggen.

Bermudian reggae star Collie Buddz and New Kingston Band will be performing live at Barrs Bay Park in Hamilton this evening, with an early warm-up by Vibe 103 DJs Smokey, Chubb, Keem and Rusty G.

Both locations have been a hustle of activity, with numerous preparations underway through the entire day.
