The 2016 Cup Match Cricket Classic came to an end with a draw and Somerset Cricket Club retaining the cup for another year following two days of action packed cricket.
Fans came out to the west end in droves to cheer for Somerset or St. George’s while sporting their team colours and enjoying the holiday atmosphere.
Vendors were hard at work providing scrumptious goodies including Bermuda fish, snow balls, fresh cut watermelon, frozen popsicles, sherbert shakes, fresh baked goods, toys, fresh squeezed lemonade, a large variety of hot food dishes, cocktails, refrehments and more.
2016 was also the year that Cup Match had a ‘streaker’, as depicted below.
