HSBC Bank is getting into the Cup Match spirit with free snowballs in the team colours being served at various branches as well as mini-cricket game taking place in the Bank’s lobby.
HSBC CFO Michael Schrum and Senior Product Manager Mitch Barker moved into another role for the day, and could be found outside serving snowballs in the traditional Cup Match colours of red/blue and blue/blue.
Some of the Cup Match players stopped by and took part in a mini game of cricket in the lobby, where tables were set up with photos depicting Cup Match history.
Somerset Cricket Club President Alfred Maybury and St George’s Cricket Club President Neil Paynter both stopped by, as did the former HSBC Bermuda CEO Phil Butterfield. And of course there were no shortage of fans stopping by, grabbing snowballs in their team colours – with many sporting their team colours.
HSBC Bermuda is the lead sponsor of this year’s Cup Match, with HSBC Bermuda CEO Richard Moseley saying “Supporting Cup Match is an important commitment for HSBC, as it’s a celebration of the Island’s heritage and culture. We are very pleased to be included in the celebrations.
