Thousands of people made their way to Horseshoe Bay Beach to attend Chewstick’s BeachFest Emancipation Celebration event, which kicked off at 11am with a full slate of entertainment taking place throughout the day.
Crowds were kept entertained as local artists took the stage, the beach area saw events including tug-o-war, netball, football and volleyball games while booths set up under tents across the beach were offering refreshments and more.
